Their National Energy and Climate Plan has set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the energy sector, amounting to 35% by 2030. In addition to this, the Belgian government has planned to generate at least 1 GW solar capacity annually starting from 2020.
And to top it off, the country has pledged to source all its electricity supply from renewable sources by 2030, which is guaranteed to boost solar PV deployment across the country.
